My family and I have been dining here for years always a treat Even my in-laws come here from Bakersfield for the great food and reasonable prices This place deserves an extra five stars

The best tacos I have ever had. Even after 10 years since the last time I was there. They put celery in there and it makes even more delicious for a good crunch. The building is a little run down and avoid the bathrooms.

Love this place. We always stop here when traveling through this area.

the most horrible attention!!!!!!I ORDERED VEGETABLES soups!!!! I didn't order stupid chili soup..my order was 1 hour late?????😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I will never stop here my soup it was to spicey ... I order tortillas I got after I eat the VEGETABLES!!!!I was completely ignored!!!!!! the atmosphere ok... but the service it's horrible.

Great Mexican restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Stopped in for lunch and everyone was satisfied. The salsa was amazing and the food was delicious. I got the Muy Grande chimichanga, this thing is a monster! I am a pretty big eater and it was enough for two meals. I think it was only about$14 too! Also the waiter was great!

My husband and I love this place. We drive nearly hrs just to go here. The food is really good. It's very cozy and festive inside with great friendly service.

The bathroom was stinking and food did not go down well....

EVERYTHING I've had is delicious! You won't find another place like here. Even the other resturants with the same name don't compare. Staff is friendly. I come here add often as I can!

Delicious food, great size portions and the staff is so nice, friendly and helpful! Greatest salsa verse around and a fantastic peach margarita! My family and I often drive a half hour just to come eat dinner here. Highly recommend!!

A pleasantly surprising place to eat while driving on the long, empty freeway 5! Don Perico's is very spacious, you'll have no trouble conversing with your friends.Even the tables themselves seem unusually large. Fittingly, the dishes here are served in ample portions and at reasonable prices. This is a comforting place to visit on a long, road trip, I stop with my family every time we pass through here.

Definitely a must stop spot for some real good authentic Mexican food and the service was to awesome as well and did not even have to ask for a refill and I got everything I asked for with no complaints. 👍👍

The ambience of this place is really nice with warm colors. The food was good - although I have had better Mexican food than this. The service is fast and efficient. If you're in the area and looking for Mexican food, you can try this one.

This is a must stop Mexican restaurant in Grapevine, off HWY 5, on the way to LA or SF. Tasty food, asthetically plated, nice atmoshpere. Pretty quiet at lunchtime, don't low about dinner. Only one complaint (not enough to remove a star): the fluorescent tri-colored (red, green and natural) chips. Those colors just aren't natural, so I don't eat the green and red chips.

Great Mexican food at the grapevine.

This place is a hidden gem. While the building itself needs remodeling the staff and food are phenomenal. My wife and I travel the country and were pleasantly surprised. Nestled here at the foot of the grapevine this place didn’t look like much. In need of updating it is quite surprising. Let’s start with Flavio . This mans demeanor just makes you feel right at home. Smiling, whistling, and very friendly. The cook Jose was just as pleasant and man could he make a dish! My wife had the #13 combination. Her only complaint was that the dish needed Hatch Green Chili’s instead of Anaheim Peppers. But the Anaheim’s were good. I had the Fajitas Mixtecas. They were perfectly seasoned and more than one person could eat. Thanks guys for the experience. We will be back! On the downside is the bathrooms while the food was terrific and the staff was friendly the bathrooms and the building definitely needed work.

Oh my Gosh my second time I just drove 9 hours to get to this place I got one burrito the last time an I was half way finish before I made it to the freeway!! I’m buy three this time one for tonight one for a friend an one for tomorrow!! If you have not tried this place it’s a must at the Grapevine!! Tell your whole family a must travel to for good food!! An they have eighteen wheeler parking

Tried the barbacoa and was good, then tried tacos de pollo and the pollo was to dry like heated on microwave oven, customer service great, ambience nice

Was completely ignored. Employee walked right past my husband & I, helped the fair skin people behind us. The other employee walked from the rear of the restaurant (saw us) and didn't even acknowledge us. Bad service. We didn't even stay. What if we did? Would they did something to our food? Better safe than sorry. Besides it looked deserted, how fresh could the food be? Large restaurant, with 1 customer that appeared to be a truck driver.

Excelent service, so smooth and timely, up to 3 waiting on us working in sink...we had a party of 10 no reservations for my daughter's birthday, the bar drinks were good, every dish was abundant and beautifully garnished, ever vegetable crisp and fresh looking...my compliments to the chef behind the scenes...a lovley experience!!

Food we ordered, molcajete, fajitas, twin chimichangas, was decent, the place looked clean overall. The service was efficient and friendly. I took stars off because food is overly pricey and the restrooms although they're clean, but desperately need remodeling.

This place must have been really nice in the past. The place is need of some maintenance but the food was OK. They have a friendly bar and one of these days I will try the dinner menu. I have only been there for lunch.

I enjoyed my Chile Verde burrito, but my husband wasn't as impressed with his Chile Verde fries. They don't have guacamole. The guy employee who was working the bar was friendly, but the lady working the good area was so unwelcoming. She didn't say hi, mumbled when asking questions, never smiled, and was just off putting. The margarita was average. I would probably go again if i was in town and I the area or i might try the tequila bar a bit further north.

All the food tastes like it was most likely frozen. Not very good but good enough of you hungry (btw the burritos are HUGE) Not worth the money in my opinion. Just go to Dennys. However, the service was excellent due to the fact we were the only people there.

So far, so~ good! It was my 1st time eating there, and I was thoroughly impressed. Delicious fresh food. Everything tasted authentic, their chips and salsa were top notch as well. A lot of restaurants use store bought chips but these were made in-house. Very good restaurant. Highly recommended.

Don’t got to this place the food is nasty i think they recycle all the left food and serve it to the next person that comes in to eat i this place is so nasty 🤢
